Technical Support Engineer (Remote)

About the role

SpotterLabs is looking for a proactive Technical Support Engineer to join its remote team. You will help customers resolve complex technical issues, ensure smooth platform onboarding, and contribute to an exceptional user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support via phone and email.
• Troubleshoot platform behavior using browser Developer Tools (Network and Console).
• Investigate and diagnose customer‑reported issues, identifying root causes.
• Review and update records in internal administrative platforms.
• Monitor workflow status and validate transaction progress.
• Handle third‑party integration problems and external verification services.
• Analyze API requests and asynchronous system processes.
• Escalate software bugs to engineering with detailed reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document support cases and resolutions accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience in Technical Support, IT Support, or Customer Support.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with browser Developer Tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools).
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON.
• Experience with relational databases and administrative web applications.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
