Telesales Executive (Freight Forwarding)

About the role

Aston International, a shipping and logistics company offering freight forwarding, warehousing, last-mile delivery and customs clearance, is hiring a full-time, on-site Telesales Executive in Karachi. The role promotes freight forwarding and related logistics services to potential and existing clients, generates leads and converts inquiries into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential and existing clients to promote freight forwarding and logistics services
• Generate leads and follow up on prospects to secure new business
• Understand customer requirements and prepare basic quotations, or coordinate with the operations team for detailed proposals
• Maintain accurate records of calls, leads and sales activities in the CRM system
• Collaborate with customer service and operations teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
• Meet individual and team sales targets and give feedback on market trends and customer needs

Required profile

• Strong communication skills, including clear verbal articulation and active listening
• Customer service and support skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues and build long-term relationships
• Lead generation and sales skills to identify prospects, pitch services and close deals
• Relevant experience in telesales, inside sales or a similar role, preferably in freight forwarding, logistics or shipping
• Basic understanding of logistics, transportation and supply chain concepts is highly beneficial
• Ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage time effectively
• Minimum of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is an advantage
