Trainee Electrical/Electronics Engineer

About the role

The trainee will support the production and maintenance of machinery in the coating and pipe plant, working closely with the line manager. The role includes learning gas cutting, manual electric arc welding, and gaining hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMI systems, and motor drives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance plans for production equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical/electronic issues to improve machine reliability.
• Perform gas cutting and manual electric arc welding techniques.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and rectify PLCs, HMI systems, AC/DC and servo drives.
• Calculate raw‑material requirements, machine hours, and wastage.
• Study and apply pipe manufacturing standards such as API‑5L and DIN30670.
• Prepare departmental daily and monthly reports and purchase requisitions.
• Learn Oracle financial, quality, inventory, and supply‑chain modules.

Required profile

• Maximum age 25 years.
• B.Sc./B.E. in Industrial Electronics, Electronics or Electrical Engineering from a PEC‑recognized university with at least 3.0 CGPA.
• Fresh graduate (no prior experience required).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• C# programming.
• PLC troubleshooting.
• AC/DC and servo motor drives.
• Solar system knowledge (on‑grid, off‑grid, hybrid).
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
• ERP systems.
• AutoCAD.
