Transport Officer

About the role

The Transport Officer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Karachi Division, responsible for overseeing the school’s transportation operations. The role ensures safe, timely, and efficient movement of students and staff by managing bus routes, schedules, and vehicle allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and adjust daily bus routes, schedules, and vehicle allocation.
• Supervise drivers and support staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate transport records and coordinate vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Handle transport‑related inquiries from parents, students, and staff.
• Manage incident reporting and collaborate with external vendors.
• Optimize transport procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation for handling inquiries and issues.
• Proficiency in logistics management and transportation planning.
• Experience with shipping and procurement to coordinate vendor relations.
• Ability to maintain precise documentation, reports, and records.
• Good knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards in Karachi.
• Organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills under time constraints.
• Prior experience in transport or fleet management, preferably in an educational setting.
• Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, administration, or a related field (preferred).
