Truck Dispatcher - USA Freight Operations

About the role

EVOSOL Pvt. Ltd is looking for a motivated and experienced truck dispatcher to join its team in Karachi and work with USA-based trucking operations. The role involves finding and booking profitable loads, coordinating them with brokers and drivers, and keeping accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Find and book profitable loads for company and partner carriers on load boards such as DAT, Truckstop and others.
• Communicate professionally with US-based brokers, shippers and drivers, and negotiate freight rates.
• Plan and coordinate routes according to truck location and availability, and track drivers.
• Manage rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs and other dispatch documents, and maintain records of loads, trips, rates and delivery status.
• Handle appointment scheduling, follow up with brokers, resolve basic transit delays and ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Work according to USA Central/Eastern time zones as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in USA truck dispatching or freight dispatching is preferred.
• Strong English, verbal and written, and good knowledge of the US trucking and freight industry.
• Understanding of dry van, reefer, flatbed or other equipment types.
• Preferred: 1-2+ years of experience, including work with owner-operators and trucking companies, and experience with rate negotiation and load booking.

Required skills

• Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop and freight load boards.
• Good knowledge of US states, major cities, highways and freight lanes.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with multiple systems.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, and ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets.
