Unit Head – Compliance Advisory

About the role

The Unit Head – Compliance Advisory will support the Head of Advisory & CRM in ensuring that easypaisa’s digital banking advisory services are fully aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. This senior role combines governance, policy review and regulatory liaison to safeguard compliance across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Advisory & CRM in implementing the digital banking advisory strategy.
• Promote a strong compliance culture by providing ongoing advisory support to business units.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of local banking laws, SBP regulations, FATCA and CRS requirements.
• Review and update policies, SOPs, product manuals and new documentation to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Provide early compliance input during concept development of new products or initiatives.
• Conduct quarterly quality‑control reviews on a sample of controls, focusing on high‑risk areas.
• Support the management of regulatory inspections and respond to reforms related to branch‑led banking.
• Document and share lessons learned from audits and compliance monitoring activities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in compliance advisory within the banking or financial services sector.
• Deep understanding of Pakistani banking regulations, including SBP guidelines, FATCA and CRS.
• Proven ability to review and revise policies, SOPs and product documentation.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk identification and mitigation.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior management and regulators.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FATCA and CRS regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with SBP regulatory requirements and banking compliance standards.
• Experience conducting control reviews and audit follow‑ups.
