Vendor Manager

About the role

Glovender, a fast‑growing supply chain acceleration startup, is seeking a diligent Vendor Manager to support its operations in Sialkot and Lahore, Pakistan. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and its approved vendors, ensuring smooth product flow and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with approved vendors.
• Meet with vendors to assess products, negotiate pricing, and address service concerns.
• Research and select vendors offering the best price‑quality balance.
• Onboard new vendors, communicate responsibilities, and set performance standards.
• Monitor vendor compliance with international standards and report metrics to the supply chain manager.
• Resolve vendor disputes promptly and conduct random site inspections.
• Evaluate and improve existing vendor management programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a vendor manager or in a similar supply‑chain role.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations with personal transportation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Urdu and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
