Vendor Manager

About the role

Glovender, a fast‑growing supply chain acceleration startup, is seeking a hard‑working Vendor Manager to support its supply chain team in Pakistan. You will monitor, manage, and supervise approved vendors in Sialkot and Lahore, ensuring smooth order processing and compliance with international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and sustain long‑standing relationships with company‑approved vendors.
• Meet with vendors to assess products, negotiate pricing, and address concerns.
• Research and select vendors offering the best pricing and product quality.
• Onboard new vendors, conduct interviews, and communicate responsibilities.
• Establish performance standards and ensure vendor compliance with international standards.
• Report metrics to the supply chain manager and resolve vendor disputes promptly.
• Visit vendor sites regularly for random inspections and order processing verification.
• Evaluate and improve current vendor management programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a vendor manager.
• Ability to travel to different locations with personal transportation.
• Fluency in Urdu and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
