Vice President, Data Analytics for Functions

About the role

The Vice President, Stream Head – Data Analytics for Functions will lead the Data & Analytics transformation for the Functions Group, covering regulatory reporting, finance, compliance and risk across multiple geographies. This senior leader will drive automation, ensure regulatory compliance, and shape the reporting strategy for both Corporate and Investment Banking divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regulatory automation initiatives and ensure compliance with Central Bank circulars across nine IBG geographies.
• Define governance frameworks, SLAs and oversee the design, architecture and implementation of regulatory reporting tools.
• Manage vendor selection, implementation and optimisation of reporting platforms, establishing robust “Run the Bank” and change‑management teams.
• Collaborate with business, risk and compliance stakeholders to translate requirements into data‑driven solutions.
• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for regulatory reporting automation, budgeting and annual planning.
• Champion data quality, metadata standards and adherence to internal and external data regulations.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, BI developers, data scientists and AI/ML specialists, promoting innovation and agile delivery.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in data analytics, regulatory reporting or related finance functions.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale automation and technology transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks and vendor management.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence cross‑functional teams across multiple regions.
• Strategic thinker with experience in budgeting, forecasting and operational efficiency improvement.
