Vice Principal and Teacher

About the role

The Vice Principal and Teacher will play a dual role in delivering high‑quality instruction and supporting school leadership. This position combines classroom teaching with senior administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lessons aligned with national or recognized curricula (FBISE, local boards, Cambridge, etc.), including lectures, practical sessions, and laboratory work.
• Design, administer and grade quizzes, term exams and homework while maintaining accurate student progress records.
• Supervise and participate in co‑curricular activities such as morning assemblies, sports events, declamations and parent‑teacher meetings.
• Manage daily school operations: master timetables, staff attendance, substitute teacher scheduling and bell ringing.
• Observe classroom instruction, guide curriculum delivery and promote professional development among teachers.
• Handle escalated student discipline, attendance oversight and first‑level parent complaints.
• Coordinate internal and external examinations, including invigilation duties and result compilation.
• Assume full responsibility for campus administration and emergency decisions during the Principal’s absence.
• Utilize Educational Management Information Systems (EMIS) and Student Information Systems (SIS) for administrative efficiency.
• Prepare documentation, data analysis and reports using Microsoft Office and Excel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience using Educational Management Information Systems (EMIS).
• Experience using Student Information Systems (SIS).
