Video Editor Intern – Create Educational & Social Media Content

About the role
The Freedom Institute, an education and training provider in Lahore, is looking for a Video Editor Intern to help transform lesson material, interviews and webinars into engaging video assets. You will work closely with the content team to produce both long‑form learning modules and short‑form social clips that align with the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Edit course lectures and webinar recordings into concise, platform‑ready modules.
- Create short‑form videos (30‑90 seconds) for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and TikTok from longer content.
- Assemble raw footage, add lower‑thirds, captions, transitions and basic motion graphics following brand guidelines.
- Clean and balance audio, reduce background noise, and ensure consistent loudness across episodes.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject‑matter experts to incorporate feedback while preserving learning objectives.
- Export final videos in required formats and resolutions for web, mobile and LMS platforms, and maintain an organized media library.
- Support basic production tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic motion‑graphics ability using After Effects or equivalent.
- Experience with audio editing tools (Adobe Audition, Audacity or built‑in editors) and loudness normalization.
- Familiarity with captioning/subtitle workflows and ability to produce accurate subtitles.
- Understanding of aspect ratios, bitrates and export settings for YouTube, Instagram and mobile platforms.
- Strong organizational skills for project file management and version control.
