Video Editor (Sound Design & Music)

About the role

GEM Creatives is hiring a Video Editor specializing in sound design and music in Lahore. The agency makes story-driven video ads for US brands, with short films featuring real characters and emotion; the picture is already edited by the team, and they need someone who can make the films sound like real movies.

Key responsibilities

• Sound design for every scene: room tone, ambience, footsteps, doors, crowds and small details that make it feel real
• Choose and edit background music that follows the emotion of the story
• Clean and balance dialogue, voiceover and music so every line is clear
• Fix audio problems between AI-generated clips so the sound flows without jumps
• Final audio mix for mobile viewing (9:16 vertical ads)

Required profile

• Strong experience in sound design and audio mixing for video
• A good ear for music and emotion: knowing when to build and when to go quiet
• Fast, organized and able to take feedback
• Video editing skills are a plus

Required skills

• Comfortable in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (Fairlight) or Adobe Audition
• Knowledge of stock music and SFX libraries and licensing

Hiring includes a short paid test. Candidates should send their CV and a sample or reel showing their sound and music work.
