Virtual Home Health Manager

About the role

The Virtual Home Health Manager leads day‑to‑day home health and home care operations remotely, focusing on scheduling, caregiver coordination, client service, workforce coverage and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the virtual scheduling and coordination team, assign duties, monitor workloads and ensure accurate, timely client‑care scheduling.
• Oversee caregiver scheduling, match caregivers to client needs, manage open shifts, call‑offs, emergency coverage and utilization metrics.
• Handle escalated client and caregiver issues, monitor EVV attendance, track missed visits and ensure compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
• Develop and enforce workflows, SOPs and performance KPIs; provide coaching, training and regular team communication.
• Prepare operational reports on staffing, overtime, utilization and service quality; support audits and quality‑assurance activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in US home health, home care or healthcare scheduling operations.
• Proven ability to supervise a high‑volume scheduling team and resolve urgent staffing issues.
• Strong decision‑making, organizational and communication skills; able to work independently in a fully virtual environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems.
• Proficiency in home‑care scheduling platforms and workforce management tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
