Visual Merchandiser Officer

About the role

The Visual Merchandiser Officer will design and implement attractive furniture displays that enhance the customer experience, drive sales and reflect the brand’s identity. Working closely with sales, product and marketing teams, the role blends creativity with data‑driven insights to keep the showroom fresh and engaging.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange furniture and accessories to create visually appealing showroom layouts.
• Analyse sales trends with the sales team and adjust displays to highlight high‑demand products.
• Create 3D layouts and visual merchandising plans using design software and produce interior drawings for product shoots.
• Integrate soft furnishings such as cushions, rugs and curtains into cohesive setups.
• Develop mood boards for seasonal and promotional themes and update showroom interiors.
• Provide art direction during in‑house photoshoots to ensure visual consistency.
• Conduct market surveys to source complementary accessories.
• Report administrative concerns affecting visual appeal, such as maintenance or space utilisation.
• Plan weekly display changes and monthly furniture movements to maintain customer interest.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Architecture, Fine Arts, Fashion Design or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in visual merchandising, interior styling, retail design, furniture retail or home décor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using SketchUp.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
