Volunteer Chapter Lead – AI Ethics (Remote)

About the role

EthicWise AI is seeking a passionate volunteer to launch and lead a local chapter focused on AI ethics education. This remote, globally‑distributed position allows you to drive community impact in your own city or country while working on a flexible schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a new EthicWise AI chapter and recruit student volunteers.
• Organize workshops, webinars, and events that raise awareness of AI fairness and responsible technology.
• Mentor middle‑ and high‑school participants, guiding them in ethical AI projects.
• Collaborate with EthicWise AI leadership to align local activities with the organization’s mission.
• Plan and execute community outreach initiatives, leveraging asynchronous communication tools.

Required profile

• Strong leadership, organizational, and community‑building abilities.
• Interest or background in AI ethics, technology, social impact, or education.
• Experience in event planning, public speaking, or community outreach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate a remote team.
