Water Supply Pumpset and Network Expert

About the role

Conduct geological and geomorphological investigations related to water resources, assess conditions influencing groundwater, and support site selection for boreholes, recharge structures, and water intakes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare geological maps and technical inputs for infrastructure planning.
• Install dipper tubes in pumpsets to monitor water levels and perform water quality analysis.
• Fill data collection forms using Kobo Toolbox.
• Supervise drilling operations, sampling protocols, and related site investigations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering Geology or related field.
• 8+ years of professional experience in engineering geology, geological investigations, or geotechnical engineering.
• 6+ years focused on water resources, groundwater development, or water supply projects.

Required skills

• Geological mapping and field work.
• GIS and geological modeling software.
• Borehole and core logging (lithological, structural, geotechnical).
• Geophysical data integration for subsurface characterization.
• Water quality analysis for drinking water.
• Kobo Toolbox data entry.
