Water Treatment Operator

About the role

The Water Treatment Operator will work full‑time on‑site in Islamabad, ensuring the plant’s water and wastewater treatment systems operate safely, reliably and in compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Start, stop and adjust plant equipment, monitor process parameters and water quality.
• Perform routine inspections of pump stations and treatment units, record operational data and generate reports.
• Execute process control adjustments, conduct basic troubleshooting and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.
• Participate in shift handovers, audits and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Ability to operate and monitor treatment facilities with focus on reliability and safety.
• Strong technical understanding of water treatment (filtration, disinfection, chemical dosing) and wastewater treatment principles.
• Experience with process control, reading instruments and adjusting operating conditions.
• Diploma or degree in Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
