Web Developer & SEO Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Web Developer & SEO Specialist to build, maintain and optimise websites while driving strong performance on Google and emerging AI‑powered search platforms. The ideal candidate will combine technical web development expertise with a data‑driven approach to search engine optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Build, update and maintain websites using WordPress, Shopify or custom platforms.
• Perform technical SEO, on‑page SEO, keyword research and content optimisation.
• Optimise site speed, mobile responsiveness, user experience and conversion rates.
• Improve visibility on Google Search, Google Business Profile and AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
• Track rankings, traffic, leads and generate performance reports.
• Identify and fix website issues including broken links, schema markup, indexing problems and other SEO errors.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and managing websites on WordPress and/or Shopify.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and analytics.
• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
