Web Developer with E‑Commerce Expertise

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer who specializes in e‑commerce solutions for the printing industry. The role focuses on maintaining live online stores, ensuring server reliability, and delivering a smooth ordering experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise server performance to guarantee high uptime.
• Configure web servers, troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Upload, update and maintain web pages accurately and promptly.
• Perform regular checks on hardware and software systems.
• Design, develop and optimise websites for usability, performance and SEO.
• Run A/B tests and other performance measures to improve user experience.
• Oversee e‑commerce operations, including product listings and online ordering workflows.
• Collaborate with printing‑industry partners to align online ordering with production capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines and security protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Web Development or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Webmaster or Website Administrator focused on e‑commerce platforms.
• Strong background in the printing industry and online ordering systems.
• Minimum of 5 years managing live e‑commerce websites.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SQL.
• WordPress/WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento.
• Apache, Nginx, IIS server configuration.
• Google Analytics, Hotjar, Optimizely for analytics and A/B testing.
• Cybersecurity best practices and data‑protection standards.
