WordPress Developer (Design-Focused / Pixel-Perfect Implementation)

About the role

We are seeking a design‑focused WordPress Developer who can turn high‑fidelity design files into pixel‑perfect, high‑performing web pages while maintaining and extending existing WordPress sites. The role is fully remote and involves working on client projects, ensuring visual polish, usability, and technical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
• Translate Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive, pixel‑perfect WordPress pages.
• Work with page builders such as Elementor and other modern tools.
• Utilize WordPress hooks, actions, and filters to implement custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Manage WordPress environments (WP Engine, cPanel, other hosts), including SSH access, staging, backups, and deployments.
• Implement technical SEO recommendations and monitor site performance and security.
• Maintain WooCommerce stores, updating layouts and functionality as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong eye for design and user experience, able to improve visual polish when necessary.
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with a distributed team.

Required skills

• PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• WordPress theme and plugin development.
• WordPress hooks, actions, filters.
• Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom post types.
• Elementor and other modern WordPress page builders.
• Experience with hosting platforms (WP Engine, cPanel) and SSH.
• Staging environments, backups, and deployment processes.
• Technical SEO, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• WooCommerce site maintenance and customization.
