Accountant – Financial Reporting & Controls

About the role

Trending Technologies Pvt. is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join its Islamabad office. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust controls, and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record, classify and reconcile daily financial transactions, including payables, receivables, expenses and bank activity.
• Prepare vouchers, ledgers, trial balances, account reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor invoices, payment schedules, collections and supporting documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, cash‑flow tracking, audit support, tax documentation and statutory reporting.
• Maintain organized accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, operations and management to resolve discrepancies and provide timely financial insights.

Required profile

• Practical knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ability to prepare financial statements, management reports, budgets and cash‑flow summaries.
• Strong numerical accuracy, analytical thinking, confidentiality and clear communication.
• Capability to prioritize tasks, investigate discrepancies and meet recurring reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables and structured financial analysis.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Understanding of Pakistani tax documentation, audit support and basic statutory compliance.
