Accountant - US Experience (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accountant with solid US accounting experience to support a global software development leader on a contract basis. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, and assisting with month‑end close and tax filings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist with federal and state tax filings and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on financial planning and analysis.

Required profile

• Proven experience with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end close and reconciliation processes.
• Strong knowledge of US tax compliance for corporate entities.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
