Accounts & Data Entry Officer

About the role

The Accounts & Data Entry Officer will support the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, handling cash and bank transactions, and ensuring timely entry of sales and vendor data. This position works closely with the Accounts Manager and other departments to keep financial information reliable and up‑to‑date.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare day‑to‑day account records and financial documentation.
• Manage cash and bank transactions, performing accurate reconciliations.
• Process vendor payments in accordance with approved terms.
• Record sales transactions in the system following defined procedures.
• File and organize financial and accounting records properly.
• Assist in preparing periodic financial reports as required.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to verify financial data accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably B.Com.
• Prior experience in accounts or data entry is preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation abilities.
• Ability to handle cash and bank transactions responsibly.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems.
