About the role
Edge is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support its insurance operations. The role involves managing daily billing notifications, communicating with clients and carriers, and ensuring policy information is accurate and up‑to‑date.
Key responsibilities
- Review carrier notifications and daily billing schedules.
- Send billing reminders to clients and contact insureds to prevent cancellations.
- Handle inbound client calls and make outbound calls to carriers and insureds.
- Request policy rewrites, add or remove vehicles, jewelry, and other items on home/tenant policies.
- Prepare certificates of insurance (COIs) and generate new quotations for auto and home/tenant policies.
- Conduct policy reviews, explain billing histories, and apply applicable discounts.
- Document all tasks in VDI, add new insureds to the AMS system, and process payments.
- Obtain signatures for applications and follow up on notifications.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in U.S. insurance (non‑health).
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
- Reliable fiber internet connection of at least 100 Mbps.
