Associate QA Engineer (Manual Testing)

About the role

We are looking for an Associate QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality of web applications through manual testing. The role is onsite at DHA Phase 3 and offers the chance to work closely with developers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual testing for web applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide testability feedback.
• Communicate testing progress and issues clearly.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA fundamentals.
• Good knowledge of test case design techniques.
• Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with clients and participate in client discussions when required.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of API testing.
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress (a plus).
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or any programming language (an added advantage).
