Audit Practice Review & Support Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Manager to lead the Audit Practice Review & Support Program (APRSP) in Karachi. The role involves conducting firm and engagement reviews, preparing detailed reports, and assisting audit firms to improve the quality of their work in accordance with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct firm and engagement reviews to ensure compliance with ICAP‑adopted Professional Standards.
• Prepare review reports and support the preparation of committee agendas and minutes.
• Carry out reviews of financial statements and any other tasks assigned by the program.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (ICAP member) with at least 2 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Practical knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant Corporate Laws.
• Experience in a Chartered Accountant firm with a satisfactory QCR rating is preferred.
• Excellent communication, management and report‑writing abilities.
