Backend Developer - JSON (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Developer specialized in JSON Schema to join a global technology leader on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to build reliable data models and APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain JSON Schema definitions for API contracts and data models.
• Validate JSON Schema compliance for incoming and outgoing data across microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to integrate schema changes without disrupting existing workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve schema‑related issues in production environments.
• Optimize schema performance and ensure alignment with evolving business requirements.

Required profile

• Strong experience with JSON Schema specification and validation tools.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
• Solid background in JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js/Express development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL database schemas.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
