Borehole Production Engineer

About the role

The Borehole Production Engineer supports the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of products and services to customers. Working closely with operations and technical teams, the role drives continuous improvement, promotes new technologies and provides real‑time technical support throughout the sales and delivery process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in delivering safe, efficient and reliable products and services.
• Consult with operations groups to support technical expertise and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote new technology and service offerings; support risk management and lessons‑learned application.
• Provide real‑time operational support and technical assistance during sales and service delivery.
• Help develop technical job designs and identify cost‑effective techniques.
• Explore value‑added product and service opportunities.
• Collaborate with Design/Technical Engineers to optimise designs.
• Assist in incident response, recovery and investigation.
• Evaluate technical viability of tenders.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and maintain visibility through professional societies.
• Understand competitors' technical offerings and contribute to technical publications.
• Engage with universities, research institutes and external technical communities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Geoscience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support across product and service lifecycles.
• Experience collaborating with operations, design and sales teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for continuous improvement and risk management.
