Business Analyst – Demand Planning

About the role

The Demand Planning Analyst supports forecasting activities by analysing historical data, estimating future product demand, assessing promotional impacts and monitoring inventory flow. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to communicate forecasts, address demand‑related issues and continuously improve forecast accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate future product demand, promotional uplifts and develop forecast models based on industry trends.
• Plan, schedule and own CPFR activities for key accounts, communicating KPIs and corrective actions.
• Maintain weekly forecast tasks, address exceptions, and root‑cause forecast errors.
• Prepare and present forecasts in S&OE settings and generate reports to manage unique forecasts.
• Train new analysts on systems and processes, and document SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in demand planning or forecasting.
• Strong mathematical, statistical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work both autonomously and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Python and SQL (preferred).
• Familiarity with forecasting software.
• Knowledge of AI applications for business improvements.
