Business Development Officer – Field Sales

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Officer to join our team in Lahore. You will work on‑site, conducting field visits and community outreach to acquire new customers for a leading micro‑finance institution.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new customers and open bank accounts within an assigned territory.
• Promote savings, loans, and digital banking products to individuals and small businesses.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly account‑opening and deposit targets.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct door‑to‑door outreach, field visits, and community engagement activities.
• Ensure accurate completion of documentation and KYC requirements.
• Report daily activity and progress to the line manager.
• Represent the bank professionally in customer and community interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of relevant field sales or micro‑finance experience.
• Experience in account acquisition, deposit mobilization, or similar banking sales activities.
• Ability to perform field work, community outreach, and travel within the territory.
• Knowledge of KYC and documentation procedures.
• Preferred certifications in micro‑finance or sales.
