Cloud Security / DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

NETSOL Technologies is seeking a Cloud Security / DevSecOps Engineer to protect and harden its AWS‑based infrastructure. You will work closely with development, DevOps and engineering teams to embed security throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and support secure AWS cloud solutions following industry best practices.
• Implement and manage cloud security tools such as Snyk, Sysdig, AWS Security Hub, WAF, and AWS Shield.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and ensure API, container, Kubernetes and workload protection.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert on cloud security, providing guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Define and enforce IAM policies, access controls and security group configurations.
• Conduct cloud security and compliance assessments against ISO, NIST, CIS and GDPR standards.
• Create and maintain security documentation, including policies, standards and architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–6 years of overall information‑security experience, with at least 3–4 years focused on securing AWS environments.
• Proven ability to work with developers, DevOps and engineering teams in fast‑paced settings.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
