Country Security Officer – Pakistan

About the role

The Country Security Officer contributes to the security of Siemens personnel, installations, and information in Pakistan. The role supports local and regional management in implementing security requirements and acts as the primary contact for all security‑related issues within the country.

Key responsibilities

• Risk & Threat Management: identify and assess country‑specific security threats, develop and implement security concepts and plans for projects.
• Travel & Personnel Security: implement Siemens travel regulations, ensure security awareness for travelers, and provide security assistance for international delegates and VIP visits.
• Information Security & Awareness: implement awareness‑raising measures in cooperation with IT/InfoSec and raise staff awareness on important security issues.
• Stakeholder Relations: develop and sustain contacts with local security and military authorities, security providers, embassies and other relevant entities.
• General Support: support the Regional Security Officer and country management in security situations, incident analysis and crisis management.

Required profile

• Professional security qualification from a recognized authority or equivalent law‑enforcement experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep corporate security experience in high‑risk countries, including project, incident and crisis management.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan’s political and security landscape and experience managing relationships with security agencies and regulatory bodies.
