Data Scientist – Advanced Analytics

About the role

IBM Consulting is looking for a Data Scientist specialized in Advanced Analytics to help clients shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys. You will work with leading companies across industries, designing innovative AI solutions that drive real business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI solutions.
• Design and implement agentic AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Build and orchestrate multi‑agent workflows, integrating AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, and data sources.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases, embeddings, and enterprise knowledge repositories.
• Fine‑tune, evaluate, and optimize foundation models and LLM‑based applications.

Required profile

• Strong background in data and cloud technologies, including SQL, NoSQL and vector databases.
• Experience with data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes and cloud AI services (Azure AI, Databricks, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerization.

Required skills

• Python programming (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Generative AI and large language models (GPT, Claude, Llama, Mistral).
• Prompt engineering, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation and agentic AI frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel).
• Machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, NLP, time‑series forecasting and feature engineering.
