Data Scientist - Python (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Data Scientist with strong Python expertise to develop, train, and optimize AI models. The role involves collaborating with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and to refine reward models for high‑impact AI applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient Python code for AI model training and optimization.
• Conduct evaluations to benchmark model performance and analyze results for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and rank AI model responses to user queries across diverse domains, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
• Produce clear explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating strong reasoning and technical expertise.
• Lead supervised fine‑tuning efforts, including creation and maintenance of high‑quality, task‑specific datasets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data science and machine learning techniques.
• Ability to extract insights from public databases and apply business sense to analysis.
• Strong debugging skills and experience writing thorough technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating reasoning in Jupyter notebooks or similar formats.
