DBA Architect – Enterprise Database Design & Optimization

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DBA Architect to lead the design, administration, and optimization of our enterprise database environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability across multiple platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, administer, and optimize enterprise database environments.
• Ensure database availability, performance, security, and reliability.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization.
• Implement security controls and access management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues.
• Support migration, modernization, and integration initiatives.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Application Teams.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in database administration and architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one of: Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric with Purview, or Databricks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).

Required skills

• SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• HA/DR, backup & recovery, replication, performance tuning.
• Database monitoring, security, capacity planning.
• Strong SQL and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Shell Script).
• Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric, Purview, Databricks.
