About the role

The Deputy Manager Business Finance – Transmission Projects provides comprehensive support for the financial management of transmission projects, ensuring effective planning, control, and monitoring of budgets. The role analyses financial models, coordinates with technical teams, and guarantees compliance with commercial terms to aid strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating with transmission technical teams to gather technical requirements for new grids and transmission lines.
• Analyze new projects, corroborate loading with existing capacity, and prepare business cases with financial analysis.
• Develop investment models for the regulatory asset base (RAB) and support costing benchmarks.
• Ensure compliance with commercial contract terms, prepare vendor correspondence, and verify invoices.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Treasury for timely vendor payments and support commercial closure of projects.
• Prepare and consolidate reports for NEPRA, compile monthly cash spending, and review SAP accounting entries.
• Assist in CAPEX and REVEX budget preparation, monitoring, and monthly financial status reporting.
• Support asset tagging, capitalization work in SAP, and provide end‑of‑month status reports on payments and closures.

Required profile

• ACCABBA qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 + years of relevant experience in finance for transmission or power projects.
