About the role
Unilever is seeking a Digital and Media Lead for its Foods portfolio in Karachi. The role will drive holistic media planning and execution across offline and online channels, leveraging data and insights to build brand power.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of best‑in‑class media plans that integrate offline and online tactics.
- Manage relationships with traditional media partners and digital platforms such as Facebook and Google.
- Oversee digital media execution through digital hubs, applying first‑, second‑, and third‑party data for search and performance marketing.
- Champion media innovation, including connected TV, live streaming, social commerce, podcasts and direct‑to‑consumer initiatives.
- Partner with media agencies to ensure optimal resource use and campaign performance rooted in data.
- Monitor media rate cards and enforce standards for brand safety, viewability and fraud prevention.
- Report media performance and insights to key Unilever stakeholders.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Deep understanding of the media and brand communication landscape.
- Experience managing holistic brand communication for large brands or leading cross‑brand initiatives at an agency.
- Proven track record in advertising/media budget management.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and embed innovation within a matrixed organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across complex, cross‑functional teams.
