Electrical Systems Specialist – Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Systems Specialist to join a global engineering services leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting field operations and ensuring electrical safety across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site inspections and diagnostics of electrical systems to identify malfunctions or inefficiencies.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to plan and execute system upgrades or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, NFPA 70E, OSHA standards, and local safety regulations during all field activities.
• Document technical findings, maintenance logs, and compliance reports for internal and client review.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical issues in industrial or commercial settings using specialized testing equipment.

Required profile

• Proven experience with electrical system diagnostics and field operations in industrial or commercial environments.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E, OSHA, and local electrical safety regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imagers.
