Field Support Technician

About the role

The Field Support Technician will join GNS Solutions to deliver on‑site technical assistance across several cities in Pakistan. You will ensure that client IT equipment operates reliably by handling installations, repairs, and troubleshooting directly at customer locations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and resolve hardware and software issues for desktop computers.
• Perform on‑site visits to install, configure, and maintain IT equipment.
• Diagnose and repair computer systems, including basic hardware components.
• Maintain accurate records of service activities and ensure consistent functionality of client systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field support or on‑site technical assistance.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned districts.
• Relevant IT or technical support certifications are a plus.
