Finance Manager – Planning, Monitoring & ICFR

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead budgeting, performance monitoring and the Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) framework for the organization. You will partner with business units to prepare budgets, forecast future performance and provide analytical insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with all departments.
• Build financial models to support budgeting, scenario analysis and strategic planning.
• Monitor actual results against budgets and forecasts, analyse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly management reports highlighting key financial indicators.
• Create and maintain dynamic dashboards to visualise financial KPIs, trends and variances.
• Assist in the development of the company’s five‑year business plan.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the ICFR program, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
• Coordinate with departmental heads and control owners to document, execute and report ICFR activities.
• Identify control gaps, support remediation planning and issue the Long Form Report.

Required profile

• Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CFA or ICMA (completed or near completion) preferred.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field from an HEC‑recognized university.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a financial institution, with hands‑on budgeting, performance monitoring and strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practical experience with ICFR frameworks.
