General Manager – Planning & Development (Infrastructure)

About the role

Grand City is seeking an experienced General Manager – Planning to lead the planning and development of large‑scale real estate and infrastructure projects in Lahore. The role requires strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to ensure projects meet regulatory and organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure, road network, and building development projects.
• Develop and monitor master plans, schedules, and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review engineering designs, planning documents, technical drawings, and development proposals.
• Ensure compliance with PEC regulations, local development authorities, and engineering standards.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective planning and resource allocation strategies.
• Oversee approvals, technical documentation, and liaison with government and regulatory bodies.
• Provide technical leadership and strategic guidance to planning and engineering teams.
• Prepare periodic progress reports and present updates to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is an advantage).
• Valid PEC registration (mandatory).
• 10–15 years of experience in planning and development of large‑scale real estate or infrastructure projects.
• Hands‑on experience with DHA projects.
• Proven track record in planning and execution of infrastructure works, roads, utilities, and building projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, development regulations, and project planning methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision‑making skills.
