Graphic Designer & Content Creator – Reels & Videos

About the role

The University of Greater Manchester Islamabad is seeking a full‑time Graphic Designer and Content Creator to produce eye‑catching static and motion graphics, as well as short‑form video reels for its digital channels. You will work on‑site in Islamabad, collaborating closely with marketing, admissions and academic teams to bring campaign ideas to life.

Key responsibilities

• Design static graphics and motion assets for social media and promotional campaigns.
• Create, edit and publish short‑form video content (reels, stories, promotional clips) using industry‑standard tools.
• Develop promotional materials such as flyers, posters and digital banners.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand objectives and translate them into visual concepts.
• Select music, transitions and visual effects, ensuring each piece follows brand guidelines and accessibility best practices.
• Optimize content for various platforms and formats.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in graphic design with experience in both digital and print media.
• Proficiency in logo design, branding and typography.
• Demonstrated ability to create and edit short‑form video content.
• Portfolio showcasing social‑media graphics, motion design and brand‑focused work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a diverse academic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Studies or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with higher‑education or youth‑focused marketing is a plus.
