Grid Manager – Telecom Sales & Business Development

About the role

The Grid Manager is responsible for driving key performance indicators across sales, revenue, business development, mobile broadband, and channel visibility within an assigned geographic grid. The role focuses on expanding the telecom network footprint, optimizing cell site utilization, and ensuring high‑quality customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue growth for 3G/4G and handset sales by establishing new smartphone shops and enhancing existing retailer performance.
• Ensure quality of gross additions for 3G/4G services and expand channel offerings (SIM, VAS, MNP, MBB, postpaid, etc.) in high‑potential areas.
• Manage end‑to‑end complaint handling, CSI monitoring, and customer experience at franchise locations.
• Coordinate trade marketing activities, BTL promotions, and brand visibility initiatives within the grid.
• Identify untapped territories, guide BDOs on sales routing, and submit accurate sales forecasts for SIMs, scratch cards, and recharges.
• Train and supervise staff and retailers, conduct market visits, and ensure stock availability.
• Maintain POS material presence and collaborate with marketing, channel, and technical teams for optimal network utilization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (MBA preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in telecom sales, channel development, or related business development roles.
• Strong integrity, teamwork, adaptability, time‑management, and negotiation abilities.
