Head of Human Resources (HR Department Lead)

About the role

Penna Overseas Corporation is seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead its HR function in Sialkot. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution, ensuring compliance with Pakistan labour laws and international social‑responsibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 10 HR professionals, overseeing all core HR activities.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve HR policies, procedures and best practices aligned with corporate goals and legal requirements.
• Plan, execute and monitor HR compliance audits as well as social‑compliance audits such as SEDEX/SMETA, SA8000 and Customer Code of Conduct audits.
• Drive end‑to‑end talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, compensation strategy and employee engagement initiatives.
• Address audit findings promptly through corrective action plans and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Utilize HRIS and workforce analytics to provide actionable insights and support senior management decisions.
• Coordinate training, leadership development and succession planning programs.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably in garments manufacturing or export industries.
• Strong knowledge of Pakistan labour legislation and international social‑compliance standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
