About the role
The Implementation Consultant – Mid Market will own the onboarding journey for Motive’s larger customers, guiding them through hardware, software and AI‑driven platform setup to ensure rapid adoption and long‑term satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new mid‑market customers during the implementation phase.
- Lead hardware and software configuration, system training and initial setup to achieve timely activation.
- Monitor customer progress, usage metrics and adoption milestones, intervening when needed.
- Collaborate with support, engineering, sales, product management and finance teams to resolve complex issues.
- Handle a high volume of phone and email inquiries while maintaining professional communication.
- Build customer loyalty by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating product value.
Required profile
- 3+ years of experience in a customer‑facing role such as sales or support.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and ability to use data to shape engagement plans.
- Strong understanding of what success looks like for customers and for Motive.
- Excellent listening, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities with high attention to detail.
- Experience with documentation, data analysis, reporting, SQL and fintech/spend‑management technology is a plus.
