Incharge Rigging & Lifting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Incharge Rigging & Lifting to lead high‑risk lifting operations on large‑scale oil & gas shutdowns and turnarounds. The role involves supervising extensive rigging crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on tight schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and manage large rigging teams, including hundreds of riggers and foremen.
• Plan, coordinate and execute all rigging and heavy lifting activities.
• Prepare and review rigging plans, lifting procedures and equipment checklists.
• Ensure 100% compliance with HSE standards, lifting codes and site regulations.
• Collaborate with project, safety and crane teams for safe job execution.
• Conduct pre‑lift meetings, toolbox talks and on‑site training as required.
• Maintain daily logs, inspections and rigging equipment status reports.

Required profile

• Diploma/DAE in Mechanical or related technical field.
• Rigging Level‑III Certification (preferred).
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in rigging operations, including leadership of large crews.
• Proven expertise in shutdown/turnaround environments within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong command of overload charts, lifting tackles and crane capacities.
