Junior Project Manager – Software Delivery

About the role

Abacus is looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to support delivery of enterprise software and digital transformation initiatives in Lahore. The role involves coordinating cross‑functional technical teams, managing project schedules and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and monitoring software implementation and digital transformation projects.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams, customers and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, risk registers and status reports.
• Track milestones, deliverables, dependencies and resource utilization.
• Facilitate project meetings, document minutes and follow up on action items.
• Support requirement gathering, scope management and change request tracking.
• Maintain project documentation throughout the lifecycle and produce weekly/monthly progress reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience coordinating or managing software delivery or IT projects.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Project management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Asana, ClickUp.
• Agile and Scrum practices.
• Experience with SDLC processes.
• CAPM or Scrum Master certification (preferred).
