Key Account Manager – Modern Trade (Islamabad & Karachi)

About the role
The Key Account Manager will build strong relationships with the customer acquisition team, drive modern‑trade growth and ensure compliance with company SOPs across Islamabad and Karachi.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor competitor activity and provide actionable insights.
- Assess customers' financial health to safeguard profitability.
- Conduct regular market visits, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute channel activity plans aligned with business objectives.
- Approve and manage promotional activities, ensuring policy compliance.
- Update and track the monthly business plan for strategic consistency.
- Monitor stock and sales performance of Getz Life brands and share insights.
- Lead annual negotiations and business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Implement and track KPIs with the Head of Modern Trade and Trade Category teams.
- Drive distributor performance while maintaining operational discipline.
- Enforce in‑store execution standards such as planogram compliance and shelf availability.
Required profile
- Graduate degree (Master’s preferred) with at least 4 years of sales operations or trade management experience.
- Strong knowledge of RTM, account and distributor management, and key sales KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and planning abilities in fast‑paced environments.
- Effective negotiation, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- High customer orientation and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
