Lab Technician – Civil Engineering Laboratory

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician to support our civil engineering laboratory. The successful candidate will assist senior staff, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate documentation of all testing activities, contributing to a safe and efficient lab environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior staff with various laboratory tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain, clean, and verify functionality of lab equipment.
• Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment.
• Accurately record test results and keep detailed logs of laboratory activities.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplies to avoid shortages.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory procedures and operational standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a laboratory environment.
• Prior experience in a civil engineering or similar laboratory setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
• Knowledge of civil engineering lab equipment and relevant testing protocols.
