Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a remote Law Clerk to support a global leader in commercial real estate and energy. The contractor will assist legal teams with drafting, reviewing, and managing transaction documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law, including regulatory compliance and due‑diligence.
• Manage and organize transactional documentation, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for current and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts and lease agreements.
• Strong legal research abilities using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable databases.
• Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail in document management and compliance tracking.
